Mr. Edvin Šafranko, CEO of our company, participated in a panel discussion on the impact of AI and digitalization on electrical engineering at the Alumnijada event, that took place in Zagreb on Friday, September 27th.

As an experienced engineer and successful manager, Mr. Šafranko was invited to speak about the pervasive impact of artificial intelligence and digitalization on the transformation of electrical engineering.

He exchanged his ideas and opinions about the role of AI in the future of the industry with Mr. Nagihan Ok, Country Manager at Electrip, and Leila Luttenberger Marić, Head of Research and Development at Končar.

The panelists agreed that artificial intelligence and digitalization would bring many features that can help companies optimize working processes and that will significantly affect the industry in general.

However, they also concluded that human touch and intelligence will remain indispensable in those industries and working processes, such as electrical engineering, where sound decision-making is highly required.

The third edition of Alumnijada brought together over 200 participants.

It was a unique opportunity for them to network with representatives from various engineering companies, fostering the exchange of ideas about the latest industry trends, opportunities, and challenges.
