In March 2022, Montelektro’s experts have carried out a very complex commissioning process of the cement mill at Cemex plant Sv.Kajo in Solin, Croatia.

The project scope included reconstructing the power supply and plant control system developed on the FLS Automation platform and the Simatic S7-400 process controller.

With this project, Montelektro experts have once again confirmed their expertise in the flawless modernization of obsolete equipment and its commissioning within a minimal timeframe for electrical works, which was done simultaneously with the mechanical work of replacing the plant separators.

The Sveti Kajo cement factory in Solin is owned by Cemex Croatia, part of the Cemex Group, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of construction materials based in Mexico and present in more than 50 countries worldwide.
