By upgrading the existing process control system to the newest brewmaxx v9.70 Rockwell, Montelektro’s experts modernized the brewing process in Heineken Ponta Grossa Brewery in Brazil. With this project, companies continued the successful collaboration, which started in 2016 by replacing the existing, obsolete system with brewmaxx v9.00, the process control system that was the most advanced industrial automation solution at the time.

Within this project, Montelektro has also delivered new workstations, servers, and PLC CPUs.

As a result of the project that lasted over 1.5 years, the brewery will fully modernize its production, speed up the control of the processes, and finally, extend the production capacities. The first phase of the commissioning process was completed at the end of December 2021. It will continue in April 2022, along with the additional optimization of the brewhouse planned in the year ahead of us.
